Lead Implementation Technician

Reports to

Primary functions

  1. Resolve external customer technical issues with patience and professionalism.
    • Troubleshoot technical problems through information gathering, test labs, and other means as necessary and document solutions and workarounds.
    • Document customer experiences, common user errors and frequently encountered conditions in our knowledge base.
    • Assist and advise product designers with installation and deployment related issues.
  2. Help ensure that customers are getting the most from their investment through training and advice.
  3. Record all communications with customers in Help Desk software.
  4. Document and disseminate technical resolutions on all products throughout organization in a timely manner.
  5. Assist in the design and implementation of company IS strategy and systems as directed by Manager.
  6. Assist in the design and implementation of company network security as directed by Manager.
  7. Build and configure computer products for external and internal customers.
  8. Assist in developing and improving company IS procedures.
  9. Assist in administering servers, network applications and components.
  10. Assist with IS support and training to all internal customers.
  11. Train other Implementation Associates on technical procedures, applications and components of company’s software products.
  12. Make a positive impact on all customers.
  13. Advise and recommend software and hardware products that will enhance and extend customers’ business processes.
  14. Promote and recommend software and hardware products in our product line.
  15. Provide training, coaching, and advice to implementation specialists and other help desk team members.

Secondary functions

  1. Testing and documentation of company developed products.
  2. Research new technologies to implement in company’s products.
  3. Recommend and promote company’s support services to external customers.
  4. Assist with new product development at various levels.

Job Requirements

Compensation/Benefits

Starting salary based on experience, Medical, Dental, Aflac, Vacation, 401K and Profit Sharing program.
